    Peter M. Staudenmeier


    Mr. Staudenmeier is a Principal with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), where he serves as the corporate leader of the Oil & Gas Market Group. As a consulting organization, CEC focuses its operations on market groups with support from all of the firm’s multi-disciplined practices. As a market group leader, he is responsible for identifying trends and opportunities in the various Oil & Gas submarkets, as well as developing, implementing, and monitoring strategies and initiatives for growing market share and revenues. Mr. Staudenmeier uses his experience, along with market knowledge and long-term client relationships, to guide CEC’s activities in the Oil & Gas market. This includes focusing on new practices/capabilities, strategic new hires, geographic expansion, and business development initiatives.

    By training, Mr. Staudenmeier is an ecologist, specializing in areas including, but not limited to wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species consultation, routing/siting, state and local permitting, Section 404/401 permitting, wetland and stream mitigation and restoration, and post-construction wetland and stream monitoring. Mr. Staudenmeier has been directly involved in the routing, wetland delineations and permitting of hundreds of miles of pipeline. Mr. Staudenmeier has worked on site development projects for nearly all components of upstream and downstream development, but has focused primarily on natural gas pipelines. He has worked on projects for at least 35 different E&P, midstream, and transmission operators giving him a broad perspective of the industry.
