This Is Tucson

CEC Tucson was established in November 2023, stemming from the acquisition of Engineering and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (EEC). The acquisition is part of our ongoing strategy to strengthen and expand our existing operations in the region. EEC was established in 1987 and has been providing expertise in the areas of environmental services, flood control and drainage, site development, land surveying, transportation, and water and wastewater.
We serve public sector, real estate, and solid waste clients with multi-discipline services that include design, permitting, construction quality assurance, project management, environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, landscape architecture, survey, water and wastewater, and air quality permitting.

The Tucson team culture has always felt like a family. Team members have tended toward forming close friendships and trusted working relationships, and our events committee has always worked hard to organize office events. These events have ranged from in-office lunches, holiday get-togethers, family picnics, and special days throughout the year like “Team Pride Day” where we wear shirts from our favorite sports teams, or even a spur of the moment ice cream social.

The Tucson office participates in various charities throughout the year, like the Leukemia/Lymphoma Walk, and the Adopt-a-Family program, which provides holiday gifts to a needy family in the community. We have also done food drives for the Community Food Bank and collections of supplies for the local Veteran’s Administration. One year, we participated in the City of Tucson’s Adopt-a-Street program, where a team members would meet quarterly to pick up litter along a mile of a city street.
