CEC Nashville is pleased to welcome Jon Perry to the firm as a project manager in our water resources practice. Jon is a civil engineering and water resources expert who brings 27 years of experience working on transportation, land development, and public works projects throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. Jon has spent his career working diligently with the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) and numerous other regulatory agencies throughout the Volunteer State and around the southeastern U.S.
Jon has worked on a variety of projects, including stormwater pump stations for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in New Orleans; protecting streams, wetlands and springs during highway construction; significant utility enabling work for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport’s International Terminal; and, storage pond repairs for the Metro Nashville Airport Authority. Jon also has more than 10 years of roadway, bridge, utility, and Intelligent Transportation System Construction Engineering and Inspection experience with TDOT and numerous municipalities.
During his career, Jon has fostered relationships with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies throughout Tennessee and the Southeast, ensuring seamless bidding, permitting, and completion of projects on behalf of his clients. Jon is a registered Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Florida, and Georgia, with certifications in erosion prevention and sediment control from the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation. A member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Jon earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Oglethorpe University in Atlanta, as well as a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville.
