CEC is pleased to announce Chris Waddell has joined CEC Martinsburg as a Principal and their new Office Lead. Chris has more than 22 years of experience in the civil engineering field.

We thank Kow Eshun for his leadership in the Martinsburg office since it opened in July 2022. Kow will now shift his focus to our geotechnical practice in West Virginia while Chris helps continue the growth we’ve seen in Martinsburg. Chris has lived in the Martinsburg area for more than 20 years and has a deep understanding of the community and its needs.

Chris has expertise in commercial and residential land development, zoning and waiver processes, oil and gas projects, leadership training, project lifecycle management, business development, and more. During the Marcellus Shale boom in northeast Pennsylvania, Chris led a large project team in designing, construction inspection, and compliance oversight. In his previous role, he served as Director of Engineering, leading various survey and engineering projects throughout the eastern United States.
