Eighteen employees from our Pittsburgh office participated in a volunteer trail workday with the Hollow Oak Land Trust. The group met at the Montour Woods Conservation Area. The primary task of the group was to remove invasive plant species throughout the trail system.
After a safety briefing and an overview on identifying invasive plants, the team ventured along Meeks Run Trial removing barberry, knotweed, multiflora and other invasive species. In total four hours were spent removing invasive plant species from a community greenspace.
