Our Cincinnati office recently partnered with the Cardinal Land Conservancy to organize a volunteer event for the removal of invasive species. The removal took place along a new path on Cardinal’s Bortz Family Nature Preserve, where honeysuckle, garlic mustard and trash were removed.
The Bortz Family Nature Preserve presides directly at the confluence of the Little Miami River and the Ohio River. Due to this, the preserve rests in the floodplain and is prone to flooding causing large amounts of debris to wash up.
